Physiotherapist

I qualified in 2014, graduating from Coventry University and initially gained a wide range of experience in rotational and Senior Physiotherapist roles within the NHS.  I worked in diverse settings including ITU, respiratory, stroke rehabilitation and trauma and orthopaedics before specialising in Musculoskeletal Outpatients.  In 2018, I joined the lecturing team at the University of Worcester and have since achieved Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy demonstrating my ongoing professional development.

As Practice Education Lead for Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy, I enjoy a key role in the education of allied health professionals and the promotion of interprofessional learning and holistic healthcare. I understand and value evidence-based practice to ensure the latest research is integrated into client care.

A keen runner, cyclist, and triathlete I have completed numerous marathon and ultra-marathon distances and have previously represented Great Britain at European level in age-group duathlon. I have clinical interests in health promotion and pre- and rehabilitation of sports and overuse injuries.

I am a member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (Advance HE)
